Years ago I surprised my cousin with a batch of cards as part of her first son's Christening gift, and now that it's time for her second to be baptized, I thought I would see if she wanted more cards. She said yes, but this time I sent her a boatload of pics to choose from. She picked this card by Geny Cassady, with some minor tweaking:
I skipped the embossing and used the original Polka Dot Basics set. You're also kookie crazy if you think I was about to tie DMC floss into each button on each card. ;) I lost all patience with the glitter around the edges of the label-shaped layer in the center because I couldn't get it straight, and I switched the kraft out for white cardstock to make this lovely batch:
Supplies {by PTI unless otherwise noted}:
Stamps: Baby Buttons Bits, Polka Dot Basics I, Signature Greetings on the inside of card
Paper: Spring rain, New leaf, White, Bitty Dot Basics
Ink: Versamark clear, Spring rain, New Leaf
Buttons: Spring rain and New Leaf
Ribbon: White grosgrain from Michael's
Other: Labels 8 dies (Nesties), corner rounder (EK Success), Embossed curve border punch (EK Success)

Beautiful job. Don't you love it when someone really appreciates all the work and love that goes into your creations? These cards are so clean and pretty.
