Vacation!

It has been a crazy few months here, but I am happy to say that I am finally on vacation. I have posted some pictures from our short trip to Cape Cod, as well as some long overdue Papertrey Paper Dolls Challenge cards. And of course, corn on the cob is always a sign that summer is here!

So, here is my card for challenge #9, which was to use an old set. The In Bloom set is kinda old, but I actually just used it for the first time. It took some getting used to and I definitely need some practice with it, especially adding the leaves to the flowers. I love how the bow came out though, and acetate is my new favorite thing to use.

I will continue to update this post with cards for older challenges throughout the week!

Supplies {by PTI unless otherwise noted}
Stamps: In Bloom, Fillable Frames
Paper: Enchanted Evening, white, SU! brocade blue, acetate sheets
Ink: Lemon Tart, Enchanted Evening
Other: Lemon Tart satin ribbon, glitter, Spellbinders labels die

I love how this turned out. The yellow is so soft and pretty, and the added little shine to the sentiment is the perfect touch!
