This weekend in the PTI forum, I have had a ton of fun reading about other people's stamping styles and learning about which stamp sets people use more frequently or less frequently than they thought they might. For me, one such set is PTI's Sign Language, so I dedicate this post to the rekindling of my love for that set. It was one of the first stamp sets that I bought and I was sad to admit that it has been one of the more neglected sets in my collection. So here it goes...
I was inspired by one of Betsy Veldman's cards in making this one, and while I was at it, I thought I would play along in the Card Style Classy and Elegant Challenge in the Moxie Fab World!
As you can see, I lined up five of the square images from Sign Language on my stamp block and repeatedly stamped it several times in the background in a few different colors, almost to create the look of tile. The sets Signature Greetings and Dot Spot were used to complete the focal point in the center, and chamomile ink was used to distress the edges of everything! I had a lot of fun adding the ribbon and buttons at the end.
Thank you for checking out my work. Now onto some real work for a 7:30am meeting tomorrow morning. Have a great afternoon.
