Last night I was antsy and decided the only thing that would help me fall asleep was to craft something, so I pulled out my new SU! set called Aviary and went to town. It was great! Many thanks to Marilyn for including me in her club again.
This was my first time in my craft room in weeks - my husband and I were joking that he goes in there to use the paper trimmer more than I do now. It's true! He's been making tons of note cards for himself. Here's what I created:
No sentiment yet since I haven't decided who I will send it to, but I hope you liked it! Thanks for stopping by. And thanks to everyone for all of their comments and encouragement about the lung cancer walk. I really appreciate it! I've been working hard, so hard that I haven't been able to use my ticket die or stamps from last month. THAT'S BUSY, I think!
Supplies {by SU! unless otherwise noted}
Stamps: Aviary, Background Basics Text (PTI)
Paper: Very vanilla, lilac, patterned paper (PTI)
Ink: Blue Bayou, Crumb Cake
Other: mini clear button, Enchanted Evening Saton Ribbon (PTI), twine (PTI)

Super cute! Love this color combo - not something I would usually put together, but it looks great!
I love the tall card.....goes very well with that stamp! Beautiful and soft!
Suzanne, this is so soft and beautiful. The colors are so pretty together. Glad that you got some time to craft.

love that little clear heart button!!
Love that your husband has used your paper trimmer more than you...sometimes I feel like my kids use my supplies more than I do...that's when I schedule a night alone in my stamp room. Lovely card!
