Here we are with a new card for this week's ColourQ Challenge...on time this week. The colors took me out of my comfort zone with those soft pastel-y tones to them. I have been itching to use some enamel flowers that I picked up at Michael;s and this seemed like perfect opportunity:
Yesterday was my sister's followup appointment with the hematologist. We waited for over 3 hours to see the doctor, but that's a minor detail at this point. LOL! Most of her tests were negative - so no lymphoma or endocarditis...but one of her tests that is linked to rheumatoidy type of things was slightly high. So no definitive answers yet, but the bad things have been ruled out. So this means we are celebrating by making meatballs this weekend. Yes, I am going to share my perfected recipes with my sisters this weekend if they are up for the challenge. :)
Happy Easter, everyone!

Oooo yum, meatballs! Is that your Easter dinner? I'm glad that the bad things have been ruled out, but man, to still not have answers?! That must be tough.
On the card, you did an awesome job stepping outside your comfort zone with the colors, I think it looks awesome! I like those little flowers from Michaels, too, they were the perfect touch.

Very pretty! Love those enamel flowers (will have to look for them at our Michaels, who am I kidding, ours never has anything new, LOL). Such a pretty pastel palette and classy layout.
