I have a card to share today for the Market Street Stamps Block Party, and think you should play along too! The prizes are awesome: you could win a slot as a DT guest for a month or a prize pack of their adorable stamps and accessories.
Recently, my friend Jessica and her husband bought a camper and I have been meaning to make a card for them using the Gone Campin set from Market Street, and the weather this weekend finally afforded me the time to do just that. I paired all the images from the set with a really cute postcard stamp that I picked up at a stamp show several years ago to make this card:
I have never paper pieced so much in my life, but honestly these stamps made it SO easy to do. I pieced with patterned papers from Papertrey Ink and Echo Park and adhered all the pieces with a glue stick since I thought that was the best way to make sure all the edges stuck down to the card base.
The clouds were stamped with the Market Street Bit of Burlap background stamp and die cut before being coated with some Distress Stickles for a slight shimmer effect. The same stickles were also added to the mosquito's wings.
I can't wait to send this to them!
Supplies {by Market Street unless otherwise noted}: Stamps: Gone Campin', Bit of Burlap, postcard template (Just for Fun Stamps); Paper: White & Raspberry Fizz (PTI), Bitty Dot, Distrssed Dots, Raspberry Fizz Mix, Green Boutique PP (PTI), Walk in the Park (Echo Park); Ink: Dark Chocolate & Aqua Mist (PTI); Other: Raspberry Crystals (PTI), Ranger Distress Stickles, cloud dies (PTI), Fiskars Apron Lace Border Punch

How adorable is this card???? It almost makes me want to go camping...and that is saying something because I am one of those people who prefer to have the conveniences of home (like a hot shower and a soft bed!)
