trying new things...

Ok. So I cut something out by hand. And used stickers. And made a boy card for some imaginary boy out there...all because I liked the paper and this alligator stamp!

Look! I even paper pieced the yellow scales in his back. Ha!

summer card camp: week 1

I never went to camp as a kid. Ever. It wasn't something people from around here did...so I indulged with an online summer card camp class, and our first project was to make a card using the colors above. I decided to make a card using one of my favorite layouts, with the scalloped edging at the top:

Hope you're having a great day!

Supplies {by PTI unless otherwise noted}: Stamps: Star Prints, Tag Its 2; Paper: KI Memories Citrus Calendar, Echo Park, white, plum pudding; Ink: plum pudding, soft sky (SU!); Other: May Arts ribbon, Recollections flowers, tag die, large scalloped border die

papertrey june blog hop challenge

Welcome to the Papertrey Ink June Blog Hop Challenge! This month's challenge was to make a card inspired by the Pinterest photo Nichole posted in this link, which in brief was chock full o' rainbow delight!

It has been over a month since I have made anything and I was really happy to be crafting again. I've rekindled my love of raspberry fizz after making this card!

The raspberry fizz card base was run through the Cuttelbug with the linen impression pate, and the rainbow strips of In Bloom patterned paper were glued to cardstock before die cutting them with the Mat Stack:

Happy Blog Hoppin'!

Supplies {by PTI unless otherwise noted}: Stamps: Wonderful Words (& die); Paper: white & raspberry fizz, In Bloom PP; Ink: rich razzleberry (SU!); Other: raspberry rhinestones, Mat Stack die, banner die, corner rounder, linen impression plate
