Lucy's sketch week: day 2

I am back with another card for Lucy Abram's Sketch Week; this time for Day #2. Here is the sketch:



And here is what I came up with using some WPlus9 stamps, which are quickly becoming my favorite!


The card base is an amazing shade of gray from American Crafts. I used the Love Birds dies to mask the birds images when I was stamping the BB: Hearts images in Winter Sky A Muse Studio ink, then the birds and sentiment were stamped in Cranberry ink, also from A Muse Studio. The clothesline image, from Heartfelt Mix, was stamped in Slate (a|s studio), and the twine is from The Twinery.

All in all, a pretty easy and FUN card to make!

Hope you all enjoyed your day. I go back to work tomorrow...I am certainly going to miss all the days off, yummy foods, and family time. {sigh.}

I never do masking, but that looks so freaking awesome! I am really impressed that you're going out of your comfort zone and trying clean and simple and wow it looks so great!

gorgeous card. love that grey cardstock. I have been on the look out of some grey cardstock of that shade.
