12 Kits of Christmas: October with Jessica

_DSC0028

It's month #10 of our 12 Kits of Christmas project, and this month's hostess is Jessica! If you'd like to read about how this group started and works, please read this post. :)  Jessica sent us an Paper Smooches filled kit - super duper fun times!

I really loved that Jess also chose papers matching Autumn Rose instead of a true red - this card looks so pretty to me with those pink holly berries that I added from my bling stash.

I knew that I had to work with the dog image, and know exactly who I am sending this next card to...

I added some glitter to his hat and opted not to color him. I really like the pine boughs she sent us too.

For my card above, I channeled my inner Lynn Mangan! How did I do!? Oh, I hope I did her proud! I heat embossed the leaves from my own Paper Smooches set onto the patterned paper using a glittery embossing powder.

And here is my favorite one of the bunch! I added the Wplus9 snowflake diecut behind the sentiment and added my own fine linen ribbon and stitching. I love all those trees in the paper!

Here is a list of everyone else in our group. Have fun hopping around and seeing their creations!

Jeanne: A Kept Life

Thank you so very much, Jessica!!!

Hugs,
Suzanne

What a fun set of cards you made. It looks like I am the only one who left the hat off that dear dog--she is so pretty in pink on your card. I love how you used the patterned paper in the last card. What a great layout.

I love your Fleas Navidad card....something about the stripes. Looks awesome! Then you have your Believe in Magic card with all the extra goodness...the stitching, the snowflake, and the green pearls! Beautiful!

They are all so beautiful Suzanne! Love the pink one and your yellow bow on the last card. The dog is just too darn cute. Beautiful idea to heat emboss.
Hope you are back to some kind of normal.

Suzanne .. dare I say it again? You are brilliant! Love the clean designs - my fave is the last one with the stitching, clean lines of pattern and color - and that fab bow with the embellished sentiment! You always amaze me!

Suzanne you created a group of amazing cards with Jess's kit. I love the Autumn Rose base and embossing on this first card. The dogiie card is so cute with the little pink hat, die for the chevrons and love that snowflake on your favourite card.

Oh yes, your inner Lynn is shining through! My favorite is definitely the first one, I love how much it stands out! Then the dog is adorable, you were able to make him look great even without color...you are amazing! The last one with the snowflake is just gorgeous, love all the layering!

Amazing as always--I could never pick a favorite. LOVE every one! The pink berries are perfect and the pink Santa hat on the dog is just adorable. Fabulous touch to add the heat embossing on the chevron paper and I adore the snowflake accent on the last one!

Another incredible group of cards, Suzanne! I still have all of the pieces you used on your first card, so I will be CASEing it ASAP! Love your cute little dog in his pink hat and the pine boughs tucked behind. The clear embossing on the chevron paper looks amazing, especially with the sprinkling of red "berries". And you always rock the patterned papers. They really shine on your last card!

My favorite cards are the second one with that adorable dog and that pink hat, just too cute! Your final card is so beautiful, classy and elegant, can't wait to CASE a few of these.
